A E Booth FCA
I joined Moss & Williamson as a trainee in 1983 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988. I was appointed an associate partner in 1994 and became an equity partner in 1997.
Throughout my time with Moss & Williamson I have gained vast experience dealing with individual and corporate clients from a wide range of business sectors from professional partnerships to manufacturing companies.
I have advised on corporate acquisitions and disposals and deal with all aspects of corporate tax and accountancy matters from SME’s to substantial groups of companies. I am a “Responsible Individual” for audit purposes.
I advise on all aspects of personal taxation including tax planning, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts.
C H McLean FCA
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in December 1975 and have been a partner in Moss & Williamson since 1986.
I can offer a personalised professional accountancy service to individuals, partnerships and companies.
It is my aim to acquire an in-depth knowledge of my clients’ business in order that I can tailor our service to meet their individual requirements in a cost efficient manner.
I can provide comprehensive advice on business start-ups, including preparing and presenting a business plan, raising finance, company formations, payroll management and both personal and corporate taxation.
D Evans FCA
I joined Moss & Williamson in 2001 after training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with a large national practice in which I subsequently became a partner.
I have almost 40 years of experience in Chartered Accountancy Practices acting mainly for SME’s. I have a broad range of experience in audit, accountancy, corporate and personal taxation. My clients are involved in a wide range of business sectors including Charities, Professional partnerships and businesses in the retail and manufacturing sectors.
I advise on all aspects of personal taxation including tax planning, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts and am a “Senior Statutory Auditor” for audit purposes.
M G Foote FCA
I joined the firm in 1978 , qualified as a chartered accountant in 1982 and have been a partner in Moss & Williamson since 1988.
I specialise in accountancy and taxation advice for owner managed businesses including business start ups , corporate acquisitions and disposals , audit, retirement ,inheritance tax and all aspects of personal and business taxation planning.
I am a keen follower of most sports especially football and enjoy walking
P Lee FCA
Life at Moss & Williamson began in 1974 when I entered articles after completing a Business foundation course at Manchester Polytechnic. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978, an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in 1980 and became a partner in practice in 1981.
I have operated out of the Stalybridge office since 1976 building on a wide portfolio of clients sourced from our Ashton office, some of whom have been clients for over 35 years.
As with all partners/directors I have extensive knowledge of all aspects of accountancy and taxation, advising and dealing with a diverse portfolio of individual through to owner- run corporate clients that cover a wide range of business sectors.
In my spare time I actively enjoy walking, spectate at football and dream of retiring to a life where the only financial judgements are personal ones.
